My friend and I headed to the hotel as soon as we arrived at past four in the morning. Knowing that our check-in time was not until around noon, we kindly asked permission from the reception staff if we can just hang around the lobby until our room was ready.
To our delight, we were accommodated during that ungodly hour and were able to take a much-needed rest.

The pool was the first thing I saw upon stepping out of the reception area. The calm rippling of the blue, lighted waters was very pleasing to the eyes. If it was not just five in the morning, I think I would have changed into my swimwear and jumped right into the pool.
The pool is most inviting at night
During my stay, I did not see any guests swimming or just lounging in the pool area. I guess they were all out admiring Bagan's beautiful pagodas. But I think swimming here would be the best way to relax and reward yourself after a whole day of exploring.
Our room was the very highlight of our stay at the resort. We had the luxury of staying in a Twin Villa Suite. It was a very lovely room. Spacious. It has a well-planned lay-out and is nicely decorated.
Though another suite was just on the other side, we felt that our place was very private as the rooms/suites were evenly distributed in the resort grounds.
What is more enjoyable to see is when every time we were back from the our sight-seeing activities, our beds were always freshly made. The hotel practices daily room cleaning time which we truly appreciate.
The Tiffin Box Restaurant
And don't make me start about telling about our daily complimentary buffet breakfast. The hotel has a lovely in-house restaurant which serves breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10 AM. A variety of dishes are served from breads and pastries to rice and soup dishes. Fresh fruits and juices are also served aside from the usual water, milk and coffee.
